Ward Brothers - Suppliers of top quality contemporary and traditional furniture. Ward Brothers (Furnishers) limited was founded in 1919 by two brothers. As cabinet makers by trade, the two brothers started in Cemetry Road, Doncaster by manufacturing bedroom and dining furniture to special order. In 1930 the company moved from manufacturing into retailing with the purchase of 32 Waterdale, Doncaster, one of a row of terraced houses which were subsequently converted into retail showrooms. Ward Brothers remains today an independent family owned business with the current Managing Director being the grandson of one of the original founders, Fred Ward.
